Col Trail 1.2 miles 40 minutes
Rt. 113 to Pinehurst Rd. 0.9 miles to trailhead. Parking is available on right, before the stone gate. Trail passes a beaver swamp with views of Squam Range, it joins a dirt road and bears right and intersects with Rt 113.
Cotton Mountain Trail 0.6miles 35minutes to Cotton Mountain 1200′
The Cotton Mountain Trail begins in an old gravel pit on NH 113, 1.1 miles from U.S.-3 in Holderness. The Cotton Mountain Trail is quite steep, however the views are worth the effort. Stairs were recently constructed on the steepest sections of the trail. The trail provides access to the southern end of Crawford-Ridgepole Trail.
Eagle Cliff Trail 0.6 miles 40 min to Eagle Cliff 1270′

The Eagle Cliff Trail climbs Red Hill via Eagle Cliff and may be hazardous during wet or icy conditions. The trailhead is located on Squam Lake Road, Sandwich (Bean Rd. from Ctr Harbor) 0.4 miles north of Moultonboro and Sandwich town line. Park on side of road. The Eagle Cliff Trail climbs moderate and steep grades and reaches Eagle Cliff at 0.6 miles. When you arrive at Eagle Cliff ledges there are beautiful views of Squam lake and mountains. Beyond the cliffs the trail crosses a knoll and then descends to meet Red Hill Trail and Teedie Trail. Teedie Trail will descend 1.0 miles to base/road, Red Hill Trail will continue to Red Hill a distance of 2.5 miles.

Five Finger Point 2.7 miles, 1 hour for Five Finger Point Loop
Pick up Rt. 113. In Holderness travel about 5 miles to Pinehurst Road. Signs for Rockywold Deephaven Camps. Travel until you see a gate. Pull off to right just before gate to small dirt parking area. Walk through gate, sugar shack on left and signage for trails. Leads to Squam points and coves, scenic. Owned by University of New Hampshire.

Mount Morgan 2.1 miles, 1 hr. 30 min. to Mt. Morgan (2220′) Holderness, Trailhead off Rt. 113- 5 miles from downtown Holderness 0.5 miles northeast of Pinehurst Rd., parking on left. After descending 1.9 miles the trail meets cliffs with ledge ladders and boulder caves. At the summit you will meet Wonderful views of Squam Lake, Lake Winnipesauikee, and Mountains. Continue on to the ridge to Crawford-Ridgepole rail to Mt. Percival. Squam Lakes Association 603-968-7336.
Mount Israel Sandwich NH This 2630 foot mountain north of Sandwich can be climbed in an afternoon. Once at the top you will be greeted by magnificent views of lake Winnipesaukee as well as Squam Lake
Rattlesnake Mountain Rt. 113 Holderness –– Trailheads off Rt. 113- approx. 5 miles from downtown Holderness on right, (after Rockywold Deephaven Camps sign) park on left. Short and Easy Climb, spectacular views. Use caution with children. Steep cliffs at summit.
Red Hill Moultonborough (elevation 2,029 feet) Fire tower run by town of Moultonborough Fire Department. Bean Road in Center Harbor 1.4 miles to Shibley Road (fire tower sign) to parking lot with gated fire access road. Distance to tower 1.7 miles.
